Smart Lighting Control System On Qujing North Railway Station

Qujing North railway station used Acrel’s smart lighting control system to control the lighting for waiting hall, ticket office, platform, entrance and exit passage, static sign, advertising light box and other areas.

Project Scope

Smart lighting control system was deployed in the central control room of the railway station. All the lighting control modules are installed in the lighting control box, control modules connect to the gateway with KNX bus. Managers can control all lights of the station in central control room.

Challenge

It achieves single point control, regional control, scene control and other control modes, so that the lighting system can work according to various pre-set modes to save energy, reduce consumption, improve work efficiency and improve management level.

Solution & Result

The system includes the lighting control in waiting hall, ticket office, platform, entrance and exit passage, static sign, advertising light box and other areas. There is no control panel on the spot, and centralized control is carried out through the host computer of the central control room.

● Timing Control: through the timer, the timing and automatic management functions of regional lighting in the whole system are realized.

● Scene Control: according to the needs of each region, it is set different kinds of scene modes in smart lighting control system, and it can be programmed to set the default lighting scheme, by one-key control. It can also be in accordance with the region to achieve single control and group control scheme.

● Real-time Monitoring: all lighting control equipment is accessed to the monitoring and control system through the KNX gateway. The operation management personnel can monitor and control the illuminations for their area, floor, lighting status in buildings by graphic interface of the system, and then they can adjust according to demand.
