Core Customer Pain Points

1. The existing traditional electricity meters are outdated and lack standard communication interfaces, which makes it impossible to connect with intelligent systems and realize automatic collection of electricity data from the electricity meters.

2. Monthly on-site manual meter reading for the traditional electricity meters is required, which not only consumes substantial labor resources but also leads to high operational costs related to meter reading work.

3. Manual meter reading of electricity meters and subsequent manual data sorting result in cumbersome energy settlement processes and prolonged settlement cycles, seriously affecting the bank's financial work efficiency.

AMC96L-E4/KC Intelligent Energy Meter + AWT100-WFHW Communication Gateway + EMS Energy Management Platform

The core of the solution lies in the deployment of AMC96L-E4/KC energy meters.


These energy meters are equipped with standard communication functions, which can accurately collect real-time electrical parameters and energy consumption data, laying a solid foundation for the automatic data transmission of the entire system.



Project Outcomes

After the implementation of the solution, the project has achieved a comprehensive upgrade from manual meter reading operation to intelligent energy meter-based management:

1. Completely eliminated the need for on-site manual meter reading of traditional electricity meters and manual billing based on meter reading data, significantly reducing labor costs and avoiding human errors caused by manual operation of electricity meters.


2. The AWT100-WFHW gateway collects real-time energy consumption data from the on-site AMC96L-E4/KC energy meters and transmits the data collected by the energy meters to the EMS platform via Wi-Fi, ensuring timely, stable and accurate transmission of energy meter data.


3. The bank’s headquarters can directly access the energy consumption data collected by the energy meters of each branch through the EMS platform, and generate and export energy consumption bills based on the energy meter data with one click. This greatly simplifies the energy settlement process and effectively shortens the settlement cycle.
