Pakistan Deans Trade Center Mall Energy Monitoring Renovation Project
Pakistan Deans Trade Center Mall project involves replacing the existing Schneider products with a total of 3500 monitoring points, covering 3100 shops and 400 offices within the mall. The mall’s power supply is derived from three sources: mains power, photovoltaic (PV) energy, and generators.
Electricity fees and related service fees are collected based on the actual electricity consumption of each tenant. The upgraded energy monitoring system, integrated with Acrel's Power Cloud Platform, enables the customer to accurately track the energy consumption of both individual tenants and the entire mall, achieve fair and transparent electricity fee settlement, effectively minimize energy waste, and conveniently monitor energy usage in real time.
Acrel team invited the customer to visit its premises, including the Microgrid Research Institute and manufacturing factory, and conducted in-depth discussions on the project solution together with the technical team. The customer specified requirements for the power generation side measurement response time (120ms) and the single-phase meter input current capacity (80A).
In line with the customer’s distinct single-phase and three-phase application needs, the Acrel team selected the ADW300 energy meter, Rogowski coils, and ADF400L-6H devices. These products are used for energy consumption monitoring of the mall’s main incoming lines and line loss calculation. Compared with the original Schneider products, the selected Acrel equipment provides more accurate line loss monitoring, helping the customer identify key energy loss links, formulate targeted energy-saving measures, and further reduce the mall’s overall operational costs by minimizing unnecessary line losses.
