Explanation of the concept of Maximum Demand

Demand (Demand) usually refers to the average rate of electricity consumption by users within a specific time period. It is generally measured in kilowatts (kW) or megawatts (MW), i.e., the average power usage level reached by users during a designated time interval (such as 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour, which is the demand interval). It reflects the instantaneous demand of users on the power system.

Maximum Demand refers to the maximum value of the average power of users within a specific time period (demand interval) during a certain settlement cycle (usually one month). This specific time period is generally 15 minutes, but it may also be 30 minutes or 1 hour according to the regulations of different power companies and regions.

Currently, the ADW300 + EIOT system can display real-time demand curves, as well as data such as maximum demand and its occurrence time. (Click Picture for more details)
