UL Certified AKH-0.66L Residual Current Transformer for North American World Cup Venue Power Distribution

AKH-0.66 L-120PB and AKH-0.66 L-260×60 residual current transformers are tailor-made for large domestic switchgear manufacturers’ export business. Mass quantities have been deployed in power distribution systems of World Cup venues across the US, Canada and Mexico. The models are fully compatible with mainstream residual current relays, serving as standard leakage monitoring components for large public venues.
The entire series holds official UL Safety Certification, fully complying with low-voltage electrical codes of the US, Canada and Mexico. They can be pre-installed in main switch cabinets, power panels and lighting distribution boxes to measure zero-sequence residual current. When paired with matched residual current relays, they deliver ground fault alarming and electrical fire prevention, fully protecting personnel and power equipment inside stadiums. The UL certificate enables switchgear assemblies to smoothly pass customs clearance and on-site local inspection in North America.

Core Advantages

1. Fully Epoxy Cast & Shielded Design for Complex Venue Environments. Encapsulated in integral epoxy resin with shielded secondary windings, the transformers feature excellent waterproof, dustproof and wide temperature resistance. PB versions adopt plug-in secondary terminals for fast, reliable wiring, ideal for mass standardized assembly at overseas switchgear factories.

2. High Precision Sampling Compatible with Mainstream Leakage Monitoring Devices Class 0.5 measurement accuracy with standard 5mA secondary output, perfectly matching the sampling input circuit of most mainstream residual current relays. The rated primary current range covers 450~800A, with an 8x short-time overload capacity to detect tiny leakage currents stably without false or missing alarms in stadium applications.

3. Two Window Sizes for Cable & Busbar Installation

  • AKH-0.66 L-120PB: Round Φ120 aperture, allows multiple power cables to pass through simultaneously;
  • AKH-0.66 L-260×60: Large rectangular 260×60 window, compatible with multi-layer heavy-duty busbars for high-current main circuits in venues.
  • Closed integrated structure with matching mounting base for simple cabinet installation.

  1. 4. Dual 50/60Hz Frequency Compatibility for North American Grids Rated operating voltage: AC 0.66kV, withstand transient voltage up to AC 1.14kV; supports both 50Hz and 60Hz power grids. Power frequency withstand voltage: 3kV / 50Hz for 1 minute. Operating temperature range: -30℃ ~ 70℃, suitable for tropical and temperate regions across North America.

  2. 5. UL Certified for Barrier-Free Export to North America
    All models pass UL safety certification with complete official certificates and test reports. Switchgear manufacturers exporting to the US, Canada and Mexico can skip extra repeated testing, greatly shortening customs clearance and project acceptance cycles while eliminating electrical compliance risks.

Typical Application Scenarios

Besides large sports venues for the World Cup in the US, Canada and Mexico, these transformers are widely equipped in exported North American commercial complexes, EV charging stations, distributed PV grid-connected cabinets and industrial complete power distribution equipment. By collecting residual current in real time and coordinating with leakage monitoring devices to realize leakage protection and electrical fire prevention, they reduce after-sales failure rates of overseas projects and boost market competitiveness of complete switchgear sets.
